Your computer isn't THAT old....

The only thing that REALLY sucks is your GPU (on-board I assume). I never saw that card on a normal computer though...

So unfortunately no Assassin's Creed for you

I never said old, just crappy.

Okay just thought because of the thread title, that the PC might be old.

Anyway I don't know if you could play them, but when Rome and Medival worked fine as you said you should try Knights of the Old Republic and KOTOR 2.

For JRPG's... well I don't know that many for the PC, but if you haven't played it yet you could try Grandia 2.

^^ ohhh the memories

Some great games to try
-Fallout 1 & 2 (2 of the best single player RPG games ever)
-Heroes of Might and Magic (TBS)
-Civilization
-Sim City
-Black and White
-MOO

Is there a particular genre you would prefer, and how old is too old for you to enjoy the game?

the first two fallout games are pretty good.

Wow, I really don't like the Starcraft kind of RTS =/ The isometric view and having only a few units. I hate to say it, but I may not like the entire RTS genre save for the Total War series.

Nobody mentionned Half-Life?

You HAVE to play Half-Life. You can download it on steam I think.

I tried it, and it hurt my eyes >.<

After playing Doom again, but without ZDoom, I didn't know how I manage to get through all 3 Episodes without going blind.

Unfortunately I don't know much about Starcraft. Tried it once but just seemed a bit too old. And I don't like Aliens :p

But if you're looking for the Real-Time battles of Total War in other RTS games, then you're out of luck.

Other RTS most of the time have some sort of base-building, which Total War doesn't have at all.

But I still recommend playing Rise of Nations
