God of War 3 First Week-1 Million. LTD-4 Million.
Uncharted 2 First Week-1 Million. LTD-3.5 Million.
Gran Turismo 5 First Week-2 Million. LTD-8 Million.

I'm getting all three!!! Maye not all first week but eventually.

Also just a thought, why does every one care about the first week sales so much. It's the LTD that really matters isn't it? Although it does give a good early indication of how a game will sell, but not in all cases, Uncharted Drakes Fortunte sold 400'000 in it's first week but went on to sell over 2.6 million. But it was a new IP. Anyway just a thought.

ok, why people are still comparing my mgs4 reasoning to GT5 now? i've said that there's no chance of GT5 selling more than 2mln first week on its userbase even if it would be released this year or at the beginning of 2010 - where's the connection between GT5 and mgs4 here?

MGS4 manage to sold almost 1.8 million first week so GT can do 2 million a bigger franchise than MGS. MGS and GT are big PS exclusive, that's the connection.

MGS4 got sales of 1.7 million first week, GT being a bigger franchise should be able to outdo that. Both are PS exclusives that stood out from the rest on previous platforms. See the connection? If you think GT can't beat MGS in sales or hit 2 million first week then I'm a little worried for you.

I havent done this in a while but..


"God of war III"- 2.5 million (maybe more.. if the ps3 is $299 and there is hype sorrounding the console, GOW3 may be the best selling game of the series)

"Gran turismo 5" - 4.5-6 million (alot less.. I have a feeling some of the GT5 sales have been stolen by GT5 Prologue, and it also depends on whether or not the game is bundled)

"Uncharted 2" - 1-2 million (Modern warfare 2, that is all)

I'm only optimistic on GT5 sales and I think it'd be at about 6mil life time at least, the other 2, I really can't say.
