Apparently EA launched the game without really telling people
Right now you can login with a EA Account or register a new one, and install the IE/Firefox extension that will allow you to download the game. The game needs 1.6 GB in the HD, and as I download it there's no information about download speed or anything like that, just a normal progress bar
the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!
Is it a good thing that they launched it quietly?

I actually thought the game was already live and had been playing it for a while admittedly not played if for a couple of months Looked up on the wiki and yeah it launched today. So yeah it was quiet.
Definately recommend you give it a go while you are at it get yourself a quakelive account too.
I have been playing Forged Alliance almost exclusively for the last two months and this post just reminded to go back and try this game again.

I tried AA3 last night really struggled to join the servers. When I did for the 5 minutes I was online all I managed was a Blue on Blue. Luckily nobody saw it was me and I slunk off in the opposite direction.

In AA3, the grass was purple and blue squares, and the people were black shadows :P

This game is pretty fun. Been playing it all day with my brother. I actually got into the closed beta a few months ago but sadly couldn't play it. Just now got to play it.
