Just finished SP, did my customization during the start of lvl one and finished tweaking after about 10 minutes in.

It's confirmed, the Wiimote is the best console FPS control and closest to a mouse setup on a PC atm, the precision is dictated by the player of course just like any control, but I can't remember the last time I was able to turn that fast in a console FPS and maintain accuracy on shooting at mouse speed while jumping and crouching in midair(that'd be never btw, not to mention the backstep shooting was just the kick ass.) I hope all future shooters on Wii will base their controls off The Conduit, because that's a high bar for me now when it comes to FPS control on consoles.

Next step is of course online, we'll see what happens -_^b

Please share you experiences! =D and I also urge people to finish SP before going online so you can get used to the controls, and please don't play Guard mode =X go at least one difficulty higher!

That was confirmed when it was announced :P

now that I think about it, there is one complaint I do have with the button customization, I can't map my Melee attack to Z and just leave motion blank because I never use targeting, at all. that is one option HVS really should give users in the future, the ability to leave something blank for better key mapping, I'm going to try to swap grenade and nunchuck and test how that works.

ok I just owned myself >.>; I now have melee to Z, spin to thrust motion(never use it because I'm at 55 turning speed,) and target to d-pad up(another thing I never use.) fucking sweet =).

Love the controls.  I still feel my setup could use a bit of tweaking but it is really better than dual analog.  I still will play KZ2 and CoD on my PS3 but I really like the way this game handles.  Also, I like the retro feel.  It brings back memories of playing Perfect Dark/Bond/Turok 64 with my friends in high school.

Aye. Alot of the complaints focus on this (saying it is generic, bad AI). But  think this is more fun than alot of the shooters out there. Not only that, the AI in this is basically the same as in most other big FPS games. The controls though, are what makes this stand out and become a great experience. I am hoping it sells so other companies take note of this and we get even more quality fps games.

Now Playing: The Witcher (PC)

Consoles Owned: NES, SNES, N64, PS1, PS2, Wii, Xbox 360, Game Boy, DS

Right now, I have mine mapped more or less the same as they were in Corruption - A to shoot, B to Jump, Z to lock on, C for zoom, down for turning, and up for crouching. I really like it like this, especially running around with a Deatomizer~

A to shoot? What the hell.

Corruption used B to shoot (as it should) unless I changed it?

Either way it seems an odd choice... b-trigger makes perfect sense (TM)

The default in Corruption was A to shoot, B to jump. But you could swap the two, IIRC.

I must have swapped mine then.

Also what does IIRC stand for?

I'm really loving the controls in the game. I mostly just tweaked the dead zone and the sensitivity. I didn't remap any buttons as everything in it's default position felt pretty good except the melee attack which apparently I can't change anyway so I'll leave everything as is. I really enjoy the grenades mapped to the nunchuck.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.
