We wrote all the code ourselves.

We copied off of printouts of flow's code, but we did write it all ourself.

Are you the guy that made this game? I understand where you are coming from but similarities are so similar it just looks like a rip-off. Just my 2 Cents :P

On topic, I don't think the guy should get into any trouble seeing as he's not making money from it.

It cost a $1 or $2 to download. It was only free for a little while.

Is Flower a lot better than Flow?

Two very different games to me. Both are fun but Flower seemed more of an challange to me at least. I'd go with Flower.

Man, that is utterly shameless.

As other people said, yeah, it's pretty shameless. I mean, I was expecting a little more subtlness, but they didn't even fucking change the design of the creature you control!!! Who cares about the BG color, the creature looks exactly the same!!!

funny thing is that fl0w is a free flash game and yet console owners have to pay for it.

Well the console version is kinda better, uses the 6-axis is more fun imo (and harder too).

Even if it was free, the makers of fl0w could claim damages in the form of lost revenue based on sales.

This akin to a company selling pirated games as every sale is a sale the real developers will never see.

That is... if they can prove that the content is above whatever percent copied by law that is required for such.

That's pretty shameless.
