How is that even remotely relative to the tastes I've listed for her so far? Seriously most random response ever.

dammit! I was going to say Folklore...:[ All of the choices MAFKKA listed are great games IMO but I'd stay away from Fallout 3 (since it technically is a shooter mixed with a WRPG), Demon's Souls is a great game too but it doesn't come out until the fall. umm.....Tales of Vesperia is a great game too. Maybe Eternal Sonata.....maybe....I dunno. I'm not far enough in the game. x.o |
I WIN? ;)
Yeah i agree. Fallout might be to much monster shooter stuff. But Folklore is beautiful.

fine fine I said that because I was thinking of buying it for my wife.. OT I think she would like Oblivion (I just started playing it on xbox and totally hooked on it) and after I get tired of it I am seriously considering Castle Crasher xbl download :D , there are also upcoming ones that will totally get her hooked if she likes fable 2 wRPGs such as Risen, and Dragon Age...
Well I'm not sure if you have it already or not, but you can get the 2 DLC packs for Fable II as well, Knothole Island and See the Future. They're both alright, though I like See the Future better than Knothole. If you already have these, then you can just ignore this post. ;-p If not then it does add a bit extra to the Fable II experience.

Well if she likes RPGs, you should get her Kingdom Hearts I and 2. You should also get some Final Fantasy games. She might like fighting off the bosses.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY

I considered Oblivion, but I think the almost ridiculous openness of the game would bug her. She already complained some about Fable II's world being a little too large for her. She likes to explore and discover all the nooks and crannies of something. If the world is too big to do that she'll find it frustrating. |
You gotta try it anyway. Oblivion is perfect as soon as she's ready to take the next step in RPGs.
I have a strong feeling she'll like it.
Don't think anyone has mentioned Mass Effect. It is a great game. I'm also enjoying Fallout 3, which I'm playing now.
If she likes do-anything gameplay and RPGs, I'd suggest Dark Cloud 2. There's so much to do, and all of it's fun. Plenty of exploration, side quests, a few mini games, and fun distractions. Even if she doesn't like a particular element, most things aside from city construction and dungeon crawling are optional but still very rewarding to master.

Don't overload her with games... it's nice to do other things too...
