Forums - Microsoft - would u buy LOST ODYSSEY 2 , if it was released within 1 month of FFXIII ?

Lost Odyssey is one of my all time favorite JRPGs.


Lost Odyssey seems to be one of those games where its either in peoples all time favorite Jrpgs or your most hated Rpgs.

 

Alot of people don't like good old turn based combat systems anymore...

 

That is really shame. Is there any other good game this gen which has good old turn based combat system ? =/. I really don't like action based combat systems but if the game is otherwise good I can live with it.

I'm also old-school and I love LO.

If you like turn based combat I would seriously recommend Blue Dragon. The characters might annoy the shit out of you, but I love the art style and the fights are classic. :)

 

On topic: Of course I would buy LO2 !

Yeah. I have considered Blue Dragon but the art style and characters look very weird (even though I watch a lot of anime). Maybe I buy it if I can get it very cheap from some shop. =)

I would buy it if it were released the same day as FFXIII. Of course that has more to do with the decline of the Final Fantasy franchise in my eyes than anything else. Lost Odyssey was a very solid RPG though.

Yup, although it'll probably sit on my shelf for a shit long time. I'm currently 40% through the game and bought it last September... at least its seeing play time though :P

There are literally dozens of games in my collection where I've only invested around 1-2 hrs of gameplay.

I'd buy it whenever it came out! I really liked the first LO and I'd love to see another one come out.

I'm not planning to buy FF13 anyway, so I don't really care when that game comes out, hehe.

Yes. I'm starting to get interested in FF13, but I'd still prioritize Lost Odyssey 2 over it any day.
