Looks like Kingdom Hearts went back up in sales Yay!

Infinite Space plummets out of the top ten from the top spot last week! Probably due to shortages?

Wii is on it´s way back up again, up 3000 this week from 14 000 last week. Buildup in wait for Wii Sports Resort maybe?

Oh and Tomodachi did very well. Otherwise kind of same as last week.

Yes it is. If somebody would have told me two years ago that the two of them would be a couple of thousand units from eachother in weekly sales I would have laughed. It´s really unpredictable sometimes.

the home console hardware numbers from japan dont even make a dent
in the wide world sales. japan use to sell a ton of consoles and they where number 2
but they have sliped to number 3 . they are going hand held crazy over there

They are handheld crazy in Japan but I think that Wii will se a fine surge in hardware sales this coming second half of 2009. Before the end of this gen Wii will probably have sold a very fine amount of hardware and software in Japan and PS3 which most likely will place second among consoles will probably outsell GC which placed second in Japan last gen by a great deal so perhaps the stats for consolesales in Japan aren´t as bad as it looks. Nintendo and Sony has switched places that´s the biggest difference.

The stabilzation of, followed by the slow rise in Wii hw in recent weeks coincides pretty nicely with advertising for Wii Sports Resort in Japan. I think we're going to see a big lift this week.
