Well, it was announced: the sequel to one of the top-reviewed games ever and dare I say it: the best Mario game in the history of mario games.

I have no idea, myself. Ever since 1996, my favorite game of all time has been Mario 64, and this is the first time I feel like a game might be able to surpass it. And, for the first time since the NES, we're getting more than one main Mario game on the same console. It's completely beyond me how this game isn't getting more attention and hype! This may very well be the game of the gen. This may very well be my new game of the forever.

I'm excited about it, but its currently the quiet kind of excited.

When its about to release I'll be more excited.

Hopefully though it differs enough from SMG to be a true main mario game - not just an extension of an existing one.

I am looking forward to it but I am not excited because from what I know, so far, it seems like a expansion more than a sequel... not that that wouldn't be worth $50 for me. It's just not worth getting excited over. Still, it's a day one purchase.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
