Star Ocean 4 is no up there with Tales and Lost Odyssey. Star Ocean 4 is terrible. Everything outside of the deep combat is just awful. The only things that Star Ocean beats IU in combat and amount of bugs. IU had better voice acting, much better music, and the story was shaped like a crappy cliched anime series. I honestly don't understand why people enjoyed the game at all, especially after I just played the Star Ocean remakes on PSP. They're so much better than Star Ocean 4, and I actually put a whole lot of time into that game. I unlocked all the endings in one playthrough. I would have liked the game better even if they did small things like fixing the broken targeting system. (or the crashes, bugs, and disc swapping) Really I go on about the horrible problems of this game.

I've played over an hour of TLR and it hasn't been fun at all. I stopped. I didn't say it was an awful game, but that what I've played so far is bad.

Reimi was a horrible character. She wasn't all that bad at first, but she played the part of childhood friend who falls in love with you. You'll feel deja vu because you've seen it before a thousand times.

Surprisingly, I thought Lymle was an interesting character. She has an interesting story, but her personality and voice acting forced me to remove her from my party at all times.

Ugh we've seen that senario waaay too many times in RPGs >_>. Have something that isn't too predictable like your chilhood friend who likes you later becomes axe crazy and becomes the final boss or dies in a very horrible manner or both something >_> (I couldn't think of anything so far). OT, I haven't played Cross Edge but I'm willing to give it a try in a few months or so when the price drops.

The 360 was Already the RPG console this gen with games like fable 2 and Lost Odyssey and MUCH more..:P
