i actually agree with mirson and soriku, zidane was more open than cloud and his other RPG clones, and tidus was really annoying, locke is cool though

Tidus was just way too... whiny? I think that's what bothered me the most. I could maintain respect for some of the others, but characters like Tidus and Vaan just don't really cut it for me. I think I preferred Jecht over Tidus as a hero figure. Before he went Sin anyways.
