Well, keep in mind, reviews are always opinions.

I read reviews, but if a game I'm interested in gets a bad score, I still am going to play it.

Sotrue IGN ALWAYS give SRPG on PS3 low scores ( Disgaea 3 6.7/10, Cross Edge 3.5/10) Disgaea 3 is AT LEAST worth a 9.5/10 (imo) and Cross Edge a 8.5/10 (again imo)

The story is pretty bad. The game lags, even when installed onto the hard drive, despite being the worst looking game on the PS3. The battle system is overly complicated (and you really can't get a sense for it until you are a good ways into the game and have enough AP. The enemy difficulty from area to area seems to be a little to steep from what I remember. Menu navigation can be confusing.

Everybody go and buy Persona 4 instead. Even if you already have a copy, it'll be a better deal.

I haven't played the game, but since it's another one of those corny JRPGs with ps1 graphics, I'm not too surprised that it's getting terrible scores.

Everyone, if you want a Gust game or a good 2D JRPG, buy an Ar Tonelico game. Cross Edge has too much going against it, even though I'd like to try it...

the game is fanservice, if you like it, that doesn't mean it's good, but because of it's nature, it's not bad taste either =)
