What can be done about this?

Is it better to enjoy certain types of internet videos in the comfort of your house or to date the unattractive, heavy-set girl down the block?

I think this is a big problem in the modern world, at least in the West. And a problem that seldom people talk about, nor privately or in the media.

Not many people want to admit that they're lonely or have a hard time getting a partner because you get labeled as a HUGE loser (or maybe not directly labeled by anyone, but you feel like a huge loser). So therefore there's no discussion, and no solution.

I can die alone! You promise!? Because being in relationships have not worked out well for me thus far.

well, if your girlfriend is suspicious that you're cheating with a perosn who lives so far away she may as well not exist, and who until you were accused of cheating with you actually HADN'T spoken to, yeah there are gonna be problems

Amen on the relationships not working out, but I don't know that that should mean I stop trying. Maybe I'm just younger and less cynical than you guys.

I got out of a very serious (and horrid) relationship last year, and have just started dating a very pretty girl that's a couple of years younger than me, and it seems to be going good places so far. At my age I guess that doesn't actually mean much, but it's still something that makes me hopeful.

Of course, this girl doesn't yet know that I really am cheating on her with trashleg.

EDIT: But, I forgot the true subject matter, and there is something wrong with the way things have worked out, the fact that this man thinks this way is proof of that.

Yeah, and the worst thing is when you're a guy that isn't in a position to be in a relationship with a woman, then a lot of people start saying you're gay which in certain backwards part of the world is something that can get you in a lot of trouble if people think you're that way. I mean are you supposed to hit on or throw yourself at every girl you see if you're single? You can get charged with harrassment for acting like that.
