Last time I asked this question, the responses were strongly in favor of Punchout. It's a Nintendo game. Old school gamers would pick it up. It's more for everyone. And while I agreed with all those opinions (I said Punchout with outsellf The Conduit day one, week one, and lifetime sales), Punchout has disappointed a great many of us in terms of sales, some even called it a bomb. So, with today seeing the launch of Conduit, I'll ask the question again. Knowing what we know of Punchout, will it still sell more than The Conduit? Day one, week one, and lifetime?

I'm going to go with Conduit. Punchout is fun for a while, but isn't a title that draws in big userbases. The Conduit, on the other hand, by good advertising and word of mouth, can see sales similar to COD WaW on the Wii (approx 1.5 mil). I feel the genre lends itself to more people, plus with online DM, it will be that much more noticeable, as not too many Wii games are online, or at least do it well.

Given how Punch Out has been doing I will go with Conduit. There are many like me who have been waiting for a quality exclusive Wii FPS. Don't think many have been waiting for a cartoony boxing game which is ridiculously difficult and does not have Mario as the referee.

Punch-Out will have a better first week in Americas than The Conduit. I expect the first week of The Conduit in Americas to be 70k-80k.

Lifetime both titles will break a million, but I think The Conduit will sell a bit more in the end than Punch-Out.
