Wrong, imo. Tales of me taking a Piss was a better JRPG than FFXI.
ToMtaP is a 5/10.
It's also better than FFXIV.
Because at the very least, it's not a spinoff in disguise as a main entry.
You play Vesperia and make that claim?

I just looked up the review scores for Vesperia and FFXI at IGN. Vesperia got an 8.2 and FFXI got an 8.8.
I did play the demo for Vesperia and based on the demo I would give it a 7.5.

lol, you played the demo, and think we should take your opinion as a valid recommendation to those who might purchase Vesperia?
The demo is notoriously bad, and you can't develop characters or learn the complexities of a 200 hour 3 playthrough battle system in a demo. In fact, you can't learn anything from a demo of a jrpg.
Everyone should take your opinion with a grain of salt, if they are thinking of purchasing a jrpg, if you are basing your recommendations of a 60 hour jrpg off of, and flaming games based upon a demo. What kind of poster would do something like that? You don't even know(admittedly) what games are good, yourself, why would you try to influence others?
Here's some things that you might not know:
A. Vesperia has a huge cult following that sprung up after its release. Almost no one who has beaten it, doubts its quality.
B. The weighted average for the game is actually quite high compared to every other jrpg this generation, with the exception of the very innovative Valkyria, and Persona series'. Critics are much less forgiving of traditionalism, a trait that jrpg fans generally love, in modern times. Vesperia doesn't reinvent, it improves.
C. Vesperia's demo is notoriously bad. Even I hated it. As any Vesperia forum on the internet, or anyone here.
D. Demo's are like movie trailers. They often misrepresent the game. Especially if the game is 60 hours long, and story based.
E. Despite their numerical scores, the text reviews for the game are resoundingly positive and absolutely delightful.
F. XI is a MMO, not a JRPG, so as I said, Tales of me taking a Piss is a better JRPG than XI, because at least I can do that without 40 other players and Ventrillo.
