Tales of the World: Radient Mythology.

I have this in Japanese, lol... Not good enough to play it yet though ^^

OT: Since you have Disgaea, maybe you would find Wild ARMs XF good. I just finished it. Also, FF Tactics is nice. I also see this 30 second RPG out in Japan now, don't know if it will be localized though. And I can't wait for Persona PSP, out in JPN now..

Its Persona 1 though, Persona 1 had first person dungeons. Maybe if they remade it i'd give it a shot.

Final Fantasy I and II are not to bad, and there really cheap to.

Really? I heard that game was pretty bad, with it being mainly mission based with not much of a storyline.

It IS mission based, it has like 300 (and let's say about 5% are truly story driving, and another 10% or so for titles, rares and jobs).

I finished it some weeks ago and actually enjoyed it a fair bit. Yeah the story is nothing much and to a large extent it's a dungeon crawler but the missions aren't really a bad thing for a portable game, it makes it good for pick and play.
Graphics are very well done and the battle system is in line with Tales of the Abyss and really enjoyable. Being able to swap jobs is a nice touch (though it takes another bit of grinding).

Bottomline though, you probably have to already like Tales of games and it's best if you've played a few to know the characters in Radiant Mythology.

You're not going to play a game because it's first person?

I thought it was really bad. Really, really bad.

If you haven't yet played Final Fantasy Tactics already, that'd be a great game to buy.

Yeah pretty much.

I have heard good things about the following.

- Popolocrois
- Grummin
- Disgaea 1
- FF Tactics
- Crimson Gem saga
- Yggdra's Union

I played Rivera on GBA and liked it. I have bought it on the PSP as well but have never opened it (I have a huge backlog I need to go through first).

Legend of heroes 2 is not bad either.

Wildarms XF might be worth a look too. I have not bought it yet but thinking about it.
