As I have saide before. Sega, a very small company survived a much bigger fiasko than the PS3 (Saturn).

The only way Sony will ever drop their console buisness is if they go bankrupt.

Next Generation won't be here any time soon.... Why?
Nintendo is doing great. Microsoft is doing fine. Sony's future looks brighter in the upcoming years.

Let's just wait for some better technology.

The Wii still sells like hotcakes, so no new Wii is coming out.

PS3 and 360 are already more powerful then the Wii. A PS4 or X-Box 720 with spec upgrades are unnecessary when the current console you have out is already 2 or 3 times as powerful as the market leader.

Natal and PS3mote bundles are substantially more likely then either Sony or MS dropping more billions on a whole new console.

You can bet your last dollar that Sony won't be spending Billions on their next console. They've learnt their lesson.

I'd delay the PS4 to 2013 or even 2014 if I was Sony. If Sony releases the PS4 too early it could kill any chance the PS3 has to make any money. I'd rather see a re-designed PS3 like a slim and maybe some other colours than a PS4.

In 2010 Sony can officially stop supporting the PS2 and focus all resources on the PS3 because the 10 year plan will be done. They can work on cutting manufacturing costs, putting out good games, and making some money off of the PS3 so it isn't a total waste.
