Well, i just got my Elite 2 weeks ago, and now all of a sudden, ebery other time i turn it on it either shows no output on my tv so i have to restart it, or it takes 20 seconds to start up.

I have made sure all the cables are secure, and my wii and everything else never has ne input issues, so im wondering if I should send it in?

If it turns out Microsoft has the same amazing craftsmanship in their elites as they did their first/second/third run of other hardware, well... let's hope consumer apathy and ignorance let them survive.

Yes the Elite's suffer from many of the same problems... it's well known.

The unreliability of the 360 could be the only thing that could save the PS3.

Did you get it replaced under the warranty? Is there an upgrade option...or did you have to buy a second 360?

I had to buy a new one. My pro was past the year warranty, and it froze every 10 second or so. So i thought the Elite would be my savior, but now im just pist. :/

I got the 3 year warrany on the Elite tho.

It also seems that the new 65nm version has some issue's as well.

This is why I will wait....and wait...and wait. I don't want a warranty, I want a guarantee.
