lol, it is a guy. He's a wuss too. He's still at level 1 for me.

And I think your level is high enough. Don't worry about it. I only went to Tartarus maybe 2 or 3 times every full moon.

Just get the mid-boss stage, activate the portal, go back to the first floor (this recovers health), save, fight mid-boss, beat him, go back and save.

Do this everytime in Tartarus. Whenever you get to the highest possible floor during that full moon, you are a high enough level.

I do that when I reach mid point but dont fight him I grind a for a bit or just dont go to Tartarus for a while. I do get to the highest floor before the full moons anyways so thats good to know.

@All 3 of you
...........Is a it a guy a girl or both!? or none or certain club!?

The mid-bosses usually aren't very tough at all. If you got there, you can usually take them.

Once you reach the highest floor and give the Old Document to Elizabeth, then you're high enough for the boss of that full moon. That has worked great for me so far.

Great then thats all I do. I was basically following that routine anyways now I wont be paranoid about my levels.

My Charm is 4 bars I think. Courage is 3 and Academics is 2. Ive been trying to get Academics up but no good.

That's not bad, but I you really need to work on it. You study every night that you aren't in Tartarus. You need to be playing games in the arcade to boost Courage, Charm, and Academics. Academics is the hardest to raise. It needs more than double Charm and Courage to max. And you also have to have max courage before you can start the Fuuka link. You must also have max charm to start the Yukari link.

Already maxed out charm and my courage is 4 bars now I think and academics is 3 bars. I focused on charm since I want the Yukari link and I tried to to start Fuuka unwillingly and it said I need to be a "badass"

I just finished another full moon its one week before exams.

Around the Network

Wow, according to your progress, guys, this game moves so much more fast when you don't grind the shit out of it, ahaha. The last two months, I've been going to Tartarus 8-12 times!

Youre grinding WAY too much. Once I reached the 59th floor I just went back once more for good measure and that was it. I was still able to beat the two shadows in the 3rd full moon with ease.

I spent the whole week before doing social links stuff. You dont have to grind too much thankfully. If you just follow the grind>reach mid point (save) boss>grind>reach top (save) boss. Thats the way Im doing it.

Egh, it's casual business for me. That's the way I play JRPG's... its also my agenda to sqeeze as much skills as I can out of the personas for good fusion later on... and I rarely fuse with low social links, too. Luckily I have some effective links now... and a Lv.46 to back them up.

Getting through the next full moon is not so much of an objective.

Yea guess we just play differently I like moving forward and getting to the end.

Btw is it worth it leveling up your original persona? Orpheus is still like lvl 8 or 9.

Around the Network

I dumped him at 8... he got all the skills he could... so... maybe later? he did transform into some shit at first, no?

Right now I'm using Samael... fucking beast with the way I managed to fuse him.

SOME SPOILER!!!!!!

Orpheus from videotransforms into Thanatos. This is ultimate persona of Death Arcana. And since Death is story driven, you can get Thanatos 4. 11. (or 11/4, simply, in november) earliest.

But as game go, you can ditch Orpheus, if you want to. Thanatos is fused in different manner.

@valkyria00
One piece of advice. Don't get too complacent because the further you go up the harder it gets.

There's really no point in keeping Orpheus unless you just happen to want it for fun, and even then you would probably best be served to look at how to fuse one with a decent skill-set.

I am pretty sure it's nearly impossible to max out every social link if you waste a moderate amount of daytime building stats. It's pretty strict in FES where you really have to plan out Social Links as opposed to P4, which was much easier to max out. More or less you are supposed to spend the night building up Academics/Charm/Courage since it's really easy to max out the two night-time Social Links in the last few months of the game. Devil always goes up and Tower shouldn't take much time either. If you aren't already keeping Arcana of the Social Links you're building up in tow, you should start. You get a small boost with them that will probably save you a couple days here or there for each Social Link.

Armageddon/Victory Cry is a good combo fyi.

While I fully agree...I think he's got a long way to go till he can use that

In my opinion, grinding is not necessary nor recommended (unless you're playing in Hard, where it's essential) till you get Monad. When you do, grinding is pure fun since traversing Monad is so much fun, and you gain lots of levels doing thast. I raised my characters like 30 levels just with less than 5 hours of Monad (of course, that includes a fair number of deaths). I never imagined grinding could be so much fun
