^ I bet you GT5 is out in at least the UK this year.

You would be crazy to believe they would release GT5 in the UK before Japan. Come on now.

Thats my stance. It might come out in Japan this year, but I still think it will def hit the UK before the years end.

Thats your stance, but based on history, Japanese companies release to Japan first, then the US and the UK(which is simultaneous with the rest of Europe). I have a very strong feeling that after seeing Forza 3, Polyphony will stall back GT5 untilm Q1 2010. Polyphony is trying to get the GT PSP game out there and they will not tolerate it being overshadowed by GT5. Besides, after seeing Forza 3 they are definitely going to add more to the game.

You wont get the game this year. Polyphony are assholes and because of their stature and Sony backing them, they'll make you wait even more for a game. If this game comes out next year, it will be six years of them working on this game.

lol

They didn't start work on GT5 until 2006 at the earliest. At E3 2005 they presented Gran Turismo Vision, a trailer of what GT could be like on the PS3.

Since the release of GT4 in 2004, Polyphony Digital have been working on and released Tourist Trophy, GT: HD, Gran Turismo 5: Prologue and GT PSP.

You can keep repeating your bullsh*t about how Polyphony Digital have been working constantly on GT5 since 2004, but don't expect anyone to believe you.

I think that's forza 3 that after seeing GT:PSP needs to be delayed and add more stuff in to be even comparable to GT:PSP.Not the other way around my friend ;)

GT5 has been in the works and was announced in 2004 man. It was first unveiled in 2006, and GT5 Prelude was released on the PS3 after three years of development. In another thread post I actually showed you a timeline of release dates and the times they were actually worked on. Polyphony works on the next installments immediately after the last. It's been like that since 1997. Gran Turismo is still TBD for a reason and Polyphony already admitted that they could've launched the game a long time ago. Don't even start with me, because you've got noting.

They could have announced at the launch of GT3 that GT5 was coming. It's inevitable.

Thats all wishful thinking. At least Turn 10 can stick to a release date and still come out with a great game. GT PSP has been in development far longer GT5 so I can understand why that game got so much negative press. It was supposed to be released in 2005 but Yamuchi kept pushing back the date to 2006, then 2007, then 2008, and finally 2009. With all the proof in the world staring you guys in the face, you ignore it. Regardless, I still think GT5 will be great, but I do not like Polyphony. Forza 3 is a great looking game and anyone who denies that is in f'n denial.

Yeah, they announced development of GT5 immediately after GT4 launched. Check IGN.com in the PS2 section, in the Gran Turismo 4 news area. They were talking about how they were working on crash damage and stuff. I remember that article from when I was in highschool. LOL :)
