| Phrancheyez said: This is off topic but Spiderman 3 was horrible ppl. Come on..it's by far the worst of the 3. Spiderman wasn't meant to be emo, and he wasn't meant to participate in musicals. Horrible movie. On topic, yeah we heard about this a few months ago. We won't really see the effect it has until the end of this fiscal year though, or probably to a bit larger extent (if it actually works) next fiscal year. |
In my opinion spiderman 3 >>>>> spiderman > spiderman 2
The advertisements made Drag Me To Hell looks somewhat serious. Is this not the case? Is it a humorous in the vein of Evil Dead 2?

It's scary but there is a hint of humor.
I was pleasantly surprised.
The movie doesn't try to take itself too seriously. I recommend the movie.
I'm not a fanboy, I just try to tip the balance in favor of logic and common sense.
Won't it cost them a similar amount of money to reopen said factories and rehire the staff when things pick up? Im not sure on the business dynamics here, but it does look to be the case.
Tease.

Hmm.. let's see up to now:
a) 1 factory in France manufacturing VCR and other magnetic tapes -> I don't think there will ever be demand for that again
b) 1 factory in Vietnam manufacturing CRT TVs -> see a)
c) 1 factory in PA manufacturing LCD TVs and repairing LCD/Blu-ray stuff-> plant in Mexico has enough capacity
d) 1 (small) factory in Japan manufacturing CCD chips for handheld gadgets -> outsourced forever
e) 1 (small) factory in Japan manufacturing LCD TVs -> closed due to overcapacity, never going to return
so to sum up, none of those factories will ever see the light of day again.

So they are doing stuff they really should have years ago, and the recession is just the catalyst to getting them off their butts?
Tease.
if it allows them to become profitable and in turn drop the price of the PS3 then this is great news for gamers
Long Live SHIO!
@Squilliam: Yeah that's the impression I got from Stringer's rise in power. It would never have happened if Sony didn't really get into trouble.
