Forums - Sony - Sony Restructuring Saving $3 Billion

That's quite a sum of money.

Hopefully Sony can pull themselves out of this rut. I want even more money invested in their gaming division.

That's a lot of money. I hope that doesn't just mean cutting jobs and closing plants though.

A saving of $3bn is very rarely a bad thing.... they just need another Spiderman!!!! It might reduce some of their revenue, but they should certainly be making more profit this year

Another Spiderman? I'm pretty sure that they killed that golden goose with the third one. Would you really want to see the movie that comes after Spiderman 3?

By the way, I'd like to personally thank Sam Raimi for returning to amazingly hilarious horror movies after those dreadful Spiderman flicks.

Spiderman 3 was pretty damn awesome.

And they are working on spiderman 4. Just look on IMDB.

I hope they'll bring in carnage.

I thought it was great with so many villains and stuff in it.. . It might not be amazingly true to the story, but noone gives a flying fuck so that's alright :p

You are the first individual I have ever witness communicate that Spiderman 3 is good on any level.

I hope Spiderman 4 is nothing like 3. And I can do without carnage, especially if he will receive the same treatment as Venom.

Lets get Vulture, Mysterio or Electro....please?

Really ? I know plenty of people who likes it.

Also.. Shocker should be in it. hes pretty awesome.

Check out my game about moles ^

Spiderman 4 is already confirmed to have Carnage and lizard, and I hope they dont F#ck up like they did with Venom..

This is off topic but Spiderman 3 was horrible ppl. Come on..it's by far the worst of the 3. Spiderman wasn't meant to be emo, and he wasn't meant to participate in musicals. Horrible movie.

On topic, yeah we heard about this a few months ago. We won't really see the effect it has until the end of this fiscal year though, or probably to a bit larger extent (if it actually works) next fiscal year.

In my opinion Spiderman 2>Spiderman 3> Spiderman

Could you please provide a link?

As far as I know, there has been zero confirmation of a villain...only speculations.

And I agree, Spiderman 3 was awful. If those are actually the villains, I will not be seeing Spiderman 4 in the theaters.

I'm not a fanboy, I just try to tip the balance in favor of logic and common sense.

They have only been hinted by the producers not confirmed:

It still made tons of money, according to wiki $250m budget, $890m gross revenue, not bad in my eyes

Yeah, but alot of that revenue was from people who watched it and said "Wow that sucked" And those people probably aren't going to come back for a 4th go. Oh sure it'll still make a but load of money, but it will probably be the least successful Spiderman film by default.

And really Staude, Spiderman 3 had some of the worst story telling and plot I've ever seen in a blockbuster. And yes I have seen Matrix 2.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.
