sales wise of course they wont be better. but game wise do they have a chance of being better than halo.. you bet they do.

But that is part of the problem, Halo's campaign is great, but what makes the game is tons of online options, 4 player co-op deathmatch, tons of other options, including the new forge and theater, but what halo really brings is game sales, and that's important for an online community what good is a million different online style game types if there isn't a big online community? So far for halo 3 i've seen as many as 800,000 people online at once, that alone makes it exciting, and makes it easy to find games to play in in any mode.

Are those armoured guys friend or foe? If this game wants to "define" the PS3 to any notable degree, it needs a cool signature character people will know.

One of the things where Halo beats Killzone is how the former has a badass main character everyone on the planet recognises, but in the latter the kinda cool looking guys are the enemy, and you play a pretty generic shooter-dude. That works too, but nowhere near as well IMO.

There is a higher than normal chance that I'm talking out of my ass here, so feel free to ignore me. =P

And Killzone kills Halo by having cool evil enemies not squeaky techno alians.  Cant have everything.

Lol, show your fanboyism much?  Halo enemies> killzone

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.

Must buy for me :D Looks amazing!

Haze looks amazing, I remember earlier in the year Ubisoft said it was a multi-platform game. But now its a exclusive to the PS3. No problem its a nice game by all means, but no Halo 3-killer.

People need to seriously chill out with that.

Free redical brought one of my favourit shooters (Timesplitters serie) I have much hope that it will be good.

Be prepared to be disappointed.

Will Haze top 640P?

Another FPS? Don't they want to bring new gamers to the PS3?
