They do not sell the same, the PS3 has consistantly sold 15-20% less since the start of 09.  The only reason they look closer now is because overall all sales are much lower at this time and so 20k is still 15% when 50k used to be 20% (but would now be close to 40% in this slower time of the year).

Oh and the majority of wealthy households buy the Wii and 360 more than the PS3.

I love the '360 has many exclusives' argument. Most of them are on PC (while PS3 exclusives are just that, exclusives), and they count most crappy 10$ XBLA arcade games in Meta, but feel free to rejoice. ;)

You can say Forza 3 tries to compete with GT5, but for all those games, well, there's no competition in the same genre on 360. That's why adult gamers prefer PS3, mostly.

Now you know why we prefer PS3. The day MS makes games from every genre and of the same quality than those ones, I promise people will stop making fun of MS.

Yeah there are many good games on 360 I never said there weren't but look at your list :

- Halo ODST : SHOOTER

- Halo Reach : SHOOTER

- Gears : SHOOTER

- Mass Effect 2 : RPG / SHOOTER

- Left 4 dead 2 : SHOOTER

see what I mean ? It lacks genres. The examples I gave are from different genres, where there's no competitor on 360 (crackdown 2 ok for infamous, but otherwise... lack of variety)

- NO mgs4 is not in the same genre as gears... At least say splinter cell (but even then, it's quite different)...

- NO Valkyria is not Tales. Valk is an anime / action RPG, so is Folklore, Tales is traditional JRPG

- NO Banjo is no ratchet. Ratchet is an action / platformer, Banjo is a race / vehicle game...
