so 360 cearly leads the way with approx 31 million titles sold, PS3 with 16.5 million approx and finally PS2 with 13 million approx.

do you think it would be wise to drop sony platforms from activision published titles?

bear in mind these are only approx numbers as many ps3 titles have much data missing. and i left out PSP simply because all activision titles released for it were utter crap.

i can only think of tony hawk - cod and gh, as games being of any worth coming from activision. the rest are mediocre at best with mabey a spiderman game being any good.

the new activision published titles are also coming to ps3 namely, blur and singularity

so to sum up, ps3 titles wont sell as much as 360 titles total, but to drop the sony platforms would be a mistake.

I agree, no one is going to drop sony from major exclusive titles. The industry is in enough of a pinch without that...

as long as they still publish COD - TH and GH, and mabey any new ip`s they have thats fine, the rest can be dropped

Yeah most are quite lame. Honestly if COD didn't become a hit as it did all they would have is Guitar hero...which is pretty much on the way down. Buying blizzard saved their butts financially me-thinks

If MW2 sold same as CoD4 (and I expect it to sell more) then Activision would be literally walking away from over 4M sales. Right...

It's saber rattling because they feel the threat of giving 360 more support (which would hit hardest in US) coupled with Sony position may put enough additional pressure on Sony to encourage them to drop the price sooner rather than later.

I doubt Sony will respond (i.e. do so). In the current economy companies need all the business they can get - not less.

I also think this is more of a feint as reading the broader context I read this as more of a response to royalty levels.

Why does Wii need to be on the list? This is about Activision talking about dropping Sony and how 360 delivers better return. There is no need to Wii to be on the list.

I love my Wii, but relax, it doesn't have to be mentioned in every thread that clearly about Sony and MS.
