graphics aren't every thing the most impotent thing in a game is if its fun then game play then finally graphics I'm ok with the graphics of ps1 and N64 games as long as they are fun

I never really care about haters Whether they blindly do it or have a good reason. It is all opinion.
I Look at it this way. I could care less about a new Halo, but a new Mario I am excited about. A lot of people think the other way around. Does it hurt me in anyway shape or form? No, If anything the different systems,games, and tech's are what keeps the games pushing for more on all fronts.

Part of the way through 08, I saw a system with Brawl, SMG, Metroid Prime 3, and Twilight Princess be declared "casual" and Nintendo (that console's manufacturer) declared "abandoning the core, only marketing towards casuals"

now I just revel in the awesomeness that in Nintendo gaming this gen and ignore those who try to put it down because they hate it (I do not however ignore the good games the competition has - even when they are few and far between)

You forgot that hardcore gamers play any game regardless of graphics because we're junkies for good games, you're obviously super-casual; like how it works when other people bust out the stupid irrational logic?
