Dragon Age X360: 1.0 million PS3: 0.6 mill PC: 1 million --------------- 2.6 million
Mass Effect 2: X360: 2.8 mill PC: 0.5 mill (because it's a delayed release) ------------------- 3.3 mill
For reference: ME sold X360: 2.1 mill PC~0.4 mill = 2.5 mill Oblivion sold X360: 3 mill, PS3 1 mill, PC 1.5 mill = 5.5 mill |
Proof of the low PC sales of Oblivion and ME? You have none it seems.
I find it laughable that you think Oblivion sold only 1.5 millions on PC, when my guess would've been atleast 5 millions copies sold on PC. Oblivion still appeared on NPD's PC Monthly Top 20 of last month (#17), and it just came out on Steam and is currently holding 3 top10 spots there (#4, #8 and #10).

Oblivion on PC 5 million LOL?! Crazy talk.
That would be fantastic though. Here I thought even 1.5 million was an exaggeration. But even 2.5 million is impossible, since games like Bioshock and Crysis sold no more than a mill or .1.5 mill on PC rite.
But I hope it would be true. A fantastic game like Oblivion deserves fantastic sales.

I think your "problem" is that you take the PC sales at a much lower value than you should because the thing is, Bioshock and Crysis definitely sold more than 1.5 millions each. Pc games sell steady for years, especially today with the rise of Digital Distribution.
The last known figures for Bioshock was 1 million, and that was like over a year ago. Since then it kept selling for a year and it had a couple of HUGE discounts on Steam 75% Off with only $5 price. I'm positive that hundreds of thousands bought Bioshock on Steam due to those discounts ($5 for Bioshock is an amazing deal), I know I bought it.
Crysis is an even bigger success story I think. EA reported it reached 1.5 millions just a few months after the release, and without any help from Digital Distribution services except D2D and EA Store. Since then it kept selling for over a year and was released on other services like Steam and Gamersgate. Also it was released not long ago the Crysis Maximum Edition, which has both Crysis and Crysis Warhead.
We don't know how much both sold, but what we do know is that both are still selling. What most people seem to forget is that PC games keep selling for years, Starcraft sold only 1.5 millions in it's first year then kept selling throughout the years and has now over 10 millions.
Now compare Crysis/Bioshock with Oblivion, which has been selling for like a year more than both and still appears in the top selling lists , 3 years after it's release.
