As you can see in my sig, I am currently playing through Metroid Prime 3. I like the game, just as I liked the two previous installments on the gamecube; I've never played any of the 2D games though.
The thing that bothers me about the game though is the difficulty; every boss could mean the end of the fun for me cause I could be unable to pass it, and I remember passages in the previous games (I've only completed about 20 % of 3 yet, so I don't know about that one) were you had to fight space pirates in every room and were I was always ridiculously low on health.
Now of course those games need to be hard, because it gives you quite a thrill when you are actually scared of the bosses because you have to tackle them about seven times until you have beaten them. The thing is though that I have finished neither of the Gamecube games, and that's not what it's meant to be either.
I am usually quite good at games, but I am more of a platformer/action-adventure/rpg gamer, I think the only fps I own next to Metroid is Time Splitters 2. So I usually think that I am just bad at fps-games and that this is the reason why I think the Prime games are so hard, but what do you think? Would you wish that Other M is a bit more easy? Or do you even think that the Prime games are too easy?
