lol at 540p, that's a record for multiplats I think, and second only to Star Ocean IV regarding crappy resolution on HD consoles.

Star Ocean was 60fps are it's crappy resolution.

You know what the sad thing is? Many Sony fans with a 360 will still buy it on PS3 knowing it's the inferior version.

I don't see anything wrong with that... There could be multiple reasons for it...

Prefer the PS3 controller
Rather get trophies than achievements
Don't care about the difference
[If there's online], more of their friends that they play with are getting it for PS3.

OT: That's pretty sad, especially since they were talking about the positives they could have had if the game was PS3 exclusive...

Nothing about this game was really impressing me, I had no plans to get it. This sucks for all the PS3 only owners that are tech junkies and were reallly hyped for the game though.

READ THIS POST, BLURRY IMAGES ARE BS

Well I did some research, also thanks to a thread on the gametrailers forum I found this:

In the comments there are people that have played the PS3 version that should ease fears.

One of the quotes (there are a lot of comments in there ranging from many things):

[quoteJust to inform the masses... I picked up the PS3 version yesterday and played through the portion in which the PS3/360 comparisons were made. Obviously I cannot compare to the 360 version because I haven't played it, but the blurry screenshot for the PS3 version is painfully inaccurate. The textures on the proton pack were much crisper then shown in the picture yesterday. My immediate impression was to call shenanigans on whoever created the comparison shot. But either way, PS3 owners, have no fear, the game looks fine (it's not a graphical powerhouse anyway which made me laugh at the comparisons in the first place).

For comparisons sake, I'm interested to hear what others have experienced with the PS3 version of this game. My set up is a 42in 1080p aquos playing via HDMI.[/quote]

I picked this up yesterday for the PS3, and so far I'm loving every minute of it. The story, writing and V.O. work is truly excellent--it completely sucks you in. The action is non-stop, and the graphics, while not AAA quality are sharp and colorful--especially the Timesquare scene with Stay Puft; it really does feel like NY.

As for the inferior graphical nonsense that was discussed yesterday, I can say that I've played both versions (the first level on the 360 at Gamestop, the PS3 version..well..at home.) Yes, there is a graphical difference with the 360 having better textures and color. But I can absolutely say that the PS3 version looks nothing like those screenshots that were shown yesterday. (I call B.S. on that whole comparison). The game still looks great, and the gameplay is identical.

If you have a choice, go with the 360 version. But anyone who buys the PS3 version will not be disappointed. Yesterday was a case of overreaction to the 9th degree, and basically a bunch of hot air, blown by a majority of people who probably haven't played either version.

So after reading that, I guess the BLURRY IMAGES are over-exaggerated.....

Why would someone want to post such blurry images.....thats horrible & a mean move!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Wouldnt trust the majority of kotaku commenters as far as I could throw them.

Its not that I looks better on 360 that pisses me off, its that the devs made a big spiel about how 'PS3 is our lead platform' when it was obviously a lie.

I'll still get the PS3 version.... or Wii in any case.

I mean... there is bound to be lots of awesome ghostbuster music... and the 360 is loud as hell.

I thought this game looked stupid anyways.

This isn't a big deal anyway because the graphics are below decent standards on both systems.
