Why must you criticize other consoles?

Why must one system or one game be better than the rest?

Is it so hard for you to just enjoy gaming for what it is, a social experience between people?

Does your life have so little meaning that gaming is so important to you that you would justify something in gaming with HATE?

To you fanboys I pity you for not opening up our eyes and allowing yourself to enjoy gaming to fullest. Each system is unique and offers different things. So bring it on fanboys. Attack me for i see no reason why i will not be reading hateful things eventually.

Honestly, I think this is a pretty ignorant post you've made. People generally dislike games for a reason - If I put out $60 for a game and I don't enjoy it, of course I'll dislike it. Your post makes it seem like everyone should love everything within gaming just because it's their hobby.

If things aren't up to par, I'm not going to like them. Sorry to be so harsh, but that's really all there is to it.

Because my favorite console was the PS2 and Sony got excessively cocky and thought they could treat me like a dog that will run after a steak if you throw it in a busy highway.

Because I like to make fun of those blind fanboys that went out of their way to get that overpriced machine and still claim it was "worth the money cuz it has Blu-Ray" just cuz Sony told them so

I'm enjoying gaming just fine with an "underpowered" system according to such fanboys

I don't hate anyone, I just make fun of them


To you I pity you for thinking we're not enjoying gaming to the fullest. I know I am, but I also have the time to come here and express my views regarding the PS3 and Sony for their mistakes

Fanboyism aside, people have legitimate gripes about each of the different consoles.

With fanboys its too often a justification for buying something they were having doubts of buying in the first place. Now that they've bought it they cross whole hog into what they've chosen to try and push down the feeling that they should have bought that other console instead.

Or its because they are crazy in love with their console and need to seek psychological help.

LOL you pathetic....Because your mad @ sony and can't afford the console you then take out your anger @ the ppl who actually can afford the ps3 and are enjoying the games it has?

To the OP: See, this guy immediately assumes that since I did not buy a PS3 all of the sudden I must be poor. At the age of 27 I consider myself pretty wealthy, I have a job that pays a decent salary, I have close to 1 year worth of my salary saved, I've made investments, and to top it all a top University will be giving me a full ride including living expenses to get my masters. What he fails to see is that not all of us are willing to throw our money away. I certainly don't believe in living paycheck by paycheck. But I'm getting kinda off topic. Yes, I am angry at Sony for trying to push down my throat something that I can get at a way cheaper price. If Sony had been smart enough to bring the PS3 at $300 dollars chances of me getting it might've been a tad higher. I would most likely wait till it hits $199 but let's be honest, how long before that happens. I could've enjoy games that I really liked like God of War 3 or Rachet and Clank, now I will not. I have no regrets however, cuz I got to experience new IPs so for that I thank them.

I don't believe anyone actually hates any of the big three, before I came to VGChartz I had an Xbox, I was fine playing the PS2 and held no bias against it whatsoever ... it was just another console. Sony fanboys and to some degree fans turned me against Sony.

Having said that ... I still don't really hate Sony. They can be a bit arrogant, and where I appreciate all of Microsoft's hard work I can accept their ignorance (though I do believe Sony are far more ignorant)

Its vice verse for every faction though
