Well, I couldn't be happier to see The Conduit pop up on the list. I wonder if the guys at High Voltage know!

Well that's how GameSpot sees it obviously, besides it does mean people are interested which can only be good for the game in the long term

This is really old news. It was there since like starting of May.

They sent me an e-mail claiming that they had received well into the hundreds of thousands of fan e-mails across the development of the project, so there is a strong, legitimate interest out there (they sent it to everyone who sent them something over the years, as i had entered into their custom control scheme contest)

I hate to be Mr. Negative but I have a feeling Conduit could have a solid opening week, then drop off dramatically. I think its the kind of game that FPS fans will buy right away, but it won't have legs since its on the Wii and mature games don't do as well.

I think it'll end up selling like MP3. Anywhere between 1 - 2 million copies.

@Mao zi Dong: I think it's rated 'T' ?

Maybe not, but it's still a very good sign.  If preorders were low, it'd be a bad thing.

@Chairman-Mao: Many M-rated games on the Wii have broken the million mark (even bad games).  And legs?  Call of Duty: World at War is currently at more than 20x its opening-week numbers.  But that's beside the point--if you're using the 'M' rating as a mature game, it doesn't work here, since Conduit is rated T for Teen.
