Sony is releasing the second batch of Greatest Hits games for the Playstation 3 today. Army of Two, Battlefield: Bad Company, Devil May Cry 4, Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction are joining the club.

A Playstation 3 Greatest Hits game comes in a red Blu-ray case. A red “Greatest Hits” stripe is also place on top over the cover insert. Finally, the prices for these games are budgeted to $29.99.

The first batch of Greatest Hits games on the Playstation 3 launched last year. Here are the first ten games to be added to the label: Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty 3, Fight Night Round 3, Need for Speed: Carbon, Motorstorm, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Resistance: Fall of Man, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas and Warhawk.

Because it's still bundled with the 160 GB PS3. Slashing the price of that game would bring down the value of the bundle. My guess is it gets added to the Greatest Hits list when Uncharted 2 comes out, which will be bundled with a Slim PS3.

Smart move, making MGS4 $30

Or Sony likes to diss the American market cause we in Europe have Uncharted as a Platinum Title ages ago..
