Sony has generally been know to hold a high standard when it comes to their internally developed PlayStation exclusive titles.  From blockbuster franchises like God of War to Gran Turismo, Sony's in house developers are hands down some of the most talented in the industry.  So, it's with good reason that SCEA president Jack Tretton is very excited about the PlayStation 3's upcoming line up, as shown in a recent interview with Geoff Keighley. 

Tretton recently announced that Sony has a whopping 15 first party exclusive titles in development, capping off a well rounded catalog of first and third party games.  "With Agent on one shoulder and Final Fantasy XIV on the other, and then 15 exclusives from first party..." Tretton reveals, branding them all as "Gotta have it" games.  Of course, these 15 first party exclusives don't even count second party games, like Sucker Punch's recently released InFamous or Insomniac's upcoming Ratchet game.  It really gets you wondering, what other games does Sony have up their sleeve?

With GamesCom and Tokyo Game Show both right around the corner, we hopefully won't have too long of a wait before we find out.

The only one I would like to see a new IP out of from my fifteen is Liverpool. The rest would all be nice to see. I would relly be exited if Sony Bend was to revitalize the Syphon Filter series on PS3, or something along the lines of SP with a new IP.

Anyway I'm looking forward to some interesting announcements about announcements about games sometime soon.

Listing them would be tricky. We don't know if he's counting console exclusives, games that have already been released in Japan, 2nd party games, unannounced games, or downloadable games.
