I played it at a friends house before they sold their copy back, the controls were slow and sluggish, I may not have been used to the game but it definitly was not fun.

| Rab said: Ok we are getting conflicting feed back on the controls, one person thinks it's great, very responsive, another person finds it unresponsive and boring... why the difference??? Can two people have such different expriences???
Is it skill level, time spent, flat batteries, what the hell is it ???

The game is not that great, even if the controls were good, the guy on the screen takes too long to carry out attacks to give you any real sense of feedback or accuracy, the action is very slow and there's really now way to skillfully maneuver in battle without just swinging wildly. Also the game suffers from a dillemma where up and down attacks are only programmed into a narrow strip of motion while everything else is just registered as side to side attacks.
@gamingdevil
pws to epaikses? exeis imported Wii?
My themeforest portfolio:
Onimusha12 seems very against public opinion at the moment...
*googles australias release date* -november 2
WTH!?! damn aussie prices. it is going to retail at $80, DOUBLE the american price, yet our dollar is buying something like 85 US cents. therefore, it should sell for $50 -ish. PHAIL

Bet With routsounmanman: By the end of Q1 2008 Capcom WONT have announced a RE5 Wii Edition OR a new RE (classic gameplay) for the Wii (WON)
^^^Closer to 90 cents in the US dollar now
So it should cost us $44.00 AU
Australians get sharfted all the bloody time with prices
I'm sure the Americans would cry fowl if they had to pay $73.00 US for a budget game
I assume it's because we are a small market, but it still hurts regardless of the reason
Like I said I didn't play it very long, but I'm going to have to side with Onimsha12 here. The controls were not that great, they drug out a bit.
The game just debuted on the US list with just over 5k units... so much for being a hit of any kind.
Everybody with a Wii waiting for the top-notch first party titles? I'm starting to get the feeling that, while third parties will probably start selling well eventually, this holiday season is not going to be too great for them. Good for Nights that it got delayed, and for No More Heroes that it shouldn't be hitting the West this year.
5k aint bad if the release date is somewhat iffy and this is a budget game with absolutely no coverage. If the proper release date sells another 10k and it stay in the charts for a few weeks it could say get to 30k in the US, and then maybe 40k in Japan and Europe together.
IT's nothing spectacular but it's nice for what seems to be a very very small scale game, I'm sure it cost them almost nothing to make anyway.
Wii's going to get alot of the smaller scale type games like this, and although this one I think took the wrong approach I reckon there are plenty which could turn out awesome.
