I was looking at the price of Ghostbusters for pc and consoles, and WOW!, what a difference. The retail price of the pc version is $29.99 while the console versions (360 and ps3) is 59.99. What a difference, I'm use to seeing a $10 difference, but a $30 difference? Anythoughts? Seems like the console buyer is getting the shaft on this.
So I wasn't seeing things last night when I was searching through the gamestop's website...

What I find interesting, is that the Wii version is only $40 instead of the typical $50, and PS2 is only $20

One of the reasons may be that it doesn't have multi-player.
This usually happens when the PC version doesn't have multiplayer. NBA 2k9, for example, was only $20 ($40 cheaper than the PS360 versions) because it didn't have multiplayer.
It is a great deal for those who don't care about the multiplayer features of those games.
No multiplayer? What's that, trying to increase piracy? Without the lack of multiplayer I would probably have said they were trying to reduce piracy by reducing price... But since they've left out multiplayer, there's just less reason to buy it. Anyway, the reason for this low price is pretty much there.

Why the hell is the lack of multiplayer a reason to pirate a game? That makes no sense what so ever. That line of thought sounds like people are LOOKING for excuses to pirate.
The next thing you know people will be saying "This ten hour game is too short; I'm going to pirate it instead!"

pirates already do. They have an excuse for pirating every game out there. The only reason left to not pirate a game is for playing online where you have to have a non-pirated version. Even then, they pirate the game for the single player experience and say they never wanted to play the multiplayer so it wasn't worth the $
