I only know 2 games that use Wii Speak, Animal Crossing: City Folk (Nintendo) and The Conduit (High Voltage/Sega). Why don't other developers use Wii Speak?
What do you guys think?

The Wii speak is soooo new that it will take some time for developers to start using it. Also it is only useful for online gaming. So the other problem is a lot of games on the Wii do not have online play so until more games are online then you might see more wiispeak used.
Online gaming is nobody's priority on Wii, excluding HVS. Even Nintendo doesn't care that much, so you're just not going to see it get that much use. Friend Codes really kill the potential of this device.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
The Conduit and The Grinder are excellent examples though I wish The Grinder is released earlier.
I remember Miyamoto talking about Wii Speak being used in more games. I don't remember where though.
Currently enjoying: Monster Hunter Tri.
I just picked up a Wii Speak last week for $13 (Amazon.ca had a special) for use in Conduit and eventually Endless Ocean 2 (I hope! Assuming I can find a diving buddy). If it wasn't on special I wouldn't have gotten it at all.
It's becoming a catch 22. Not many people will bother to get it because no games support it and no games will bother to support what no one has.

He said it at this E3, I believe at the roundtable discussion.
I've had one myself for about three months, but haven't once used it. Here's hoping it rears its head more often. WHY wasn't it used in Excitebots again?

Nintendo doesn't dictate to developers (including internal studios) what to include in games. Why Monster Studios (it is Monster isn't it?) didn't include it is beyond me. Low on the priority list and out of time/budget?
No Miyamoto was talking about 1st party titles, not 3rd.
Currently enjoying: Monster Hunter Tri.
