Forums - Gaming - FORZA 3 is the new graphics king

they both look awesome bit due to environments F3 takes the cake IMHO. Car models look about the same.

Long Live SHIO!

Around the Network

At all Fans of both sides using screenshots. How about we compare actual gameplay. Similar to similar. Only problem is the 2 Forza 3 videos are off screen, and the 2 GT5P videos are direct feed. So GT5P has a slight advantage in quality of video. Even so, IMO Forza 3 is easily better in gameplay, and looks alot more realistic whilst playing.

Forza 3

GT5P

Forza 3 Track

GT5P Track.

Now everyone can get real. Forza 3 clearly wins.

1 thing i just noticed in that forza video. During gear changes the hands dont move off the wheel to change gears like they do in GT5:Prologue. Other then that.. they both look super! enviroments in Forza look awesome. Car models are about the same.. cant really tell the difference apart from the lack of AA on GT5: Prologue.

Slight off topic but is there any option that lets you save this thread? just need to save it cause ima need it when both of these game are out....gonna be hillarious 4 sure.

You might want to edit it in some better footage of Forza or some worse footage of GT because the ones you've got there really aren't helping your argument XD

Dont see your point. The environments are considerably more detailed in Forza 3. And the lighting and colour in GT5 Prologue is quite bland. Looking out my window it's a good sunny day. It's colourful. Trees are bright green, sky is a gorgeous blue. Something Forza 3 portrays much better tha GT5P. The Lemans footage alot of the time looks like a real video capture. GT5P always seems to still look like a HD video game.

Thats actually really good attention to detail. They were probably playing with Automatic gears. Which means it would not be realistic for the driver to reach down and change gear.

Something GT5P is not accurate on. In GT5P when you have automatic gears, the driver still reaches down and changes gear!?

Yeah, the mountains are gorgeous in the first video, but it looked more like something out of Ridge Racer rather than a real racing track. Like, leaning towards fantasy as opposed to photorealistic. And that Porsche is just way too shiny. The car models are far more natural in GT5.

That Le Mans clip wasn't impressive in the least. I couldn't even make out the textures. Not the game's fault, though.

Probably because the track doesn't exist at all... the road exists though it only circles the mountain, the mountain itself is a wildlife reserve.

@ kanariya - you still play GT5P online? If so interested in having a race now and then with me?

Na, I mostly play time trials.

GT5P online kind of sucks.
