The PS3 despite all of Sony's measures isn't selling well either. Another price cut is in order, plus GT5 and FF13.

The 360 is not doing bad compared to its past numbers... of course that's much easier for the 360 to do than the other two consoles.


And what exactly Sony done in that time?

All of the February/march PS3 rise was thirdy party stuff with some bundling which Sony does for most of big games there.

Nintendo hasn't lifted a finger during the whole generation in terms of price cuts, bundles or new hardware models (or colors). Sony has done a lot of that, that's the biggest difference.

I am talking about HD consoles and the battle for second place. SONY vs MS. In the beginning with the PS2. SONY had dominance in every region. Then when the PS3 released they lost NA. Now they are losing Europe, lost Others and not even dominating Japan

Yes, but that has alot more to do with the 360 outperforming the Xbox rather than the PS3 doing poorly.

It shows at this point in time PS2 had more than 10Million in sales. This ratio is not only due to the 360 doing much better but the PS3 doing much worse. The PS3 is absolutely horrible compared to the PS2 and there no way to spin this

Alright enough, you are the one spinning this into a "PS3 is still selling like $hit compared to last generation's PS2 at the same time frame" to avoid the fact that despite being the pirce of a DS the XBOX 360 cannot outsell a console that $400 in Japan.

 

where in the world is the 360 the price of the DS. ANd even it is atleast it hasn't lost as much money as SONY. Apple could sell IPods for $500 and they will still sell and they will probably be still in the top 3 world leaders. Does that make them feel good? NO. 360s price is the same as the PS2 in the equivalent time frames. Its price correctly and with all its accessories its the same price as the PS3 so stop that price argument.

We all know SONY was dumb and stupid for cramming everthing in the PS3. Dont have to rub it in. MS was smart SONY wasnt

In japan the 360 is the price of a DS.

 

Apple was selling horribly with the iphone, and had to cut the price from $599 to $299 in less than 3 months after launch. The PS2 was not the price of a DS 3-4 years into its life cycle. I dont think sony was stupid for making the PS3 the way it is, its perfect the way it is, as a gamer that owns one I am glad they released it the way it is.

When MS cancelled Cry-on they practically shut the door on their robust Japan stratergy.....

What is sad....is that The PS3 can't outsell it's prior numbers...While the Xbox 360 has increased week over week so far...

Damn 360 is actually growing in Japan, despite not getting any more new exclusive RPGS for the year (outside of Magna Carta 2?) ? Wow.
