Because its called Gran Turismo...if Forza 3 was called Gran Turismo it would be the greatest racing game ever.

While I do agree with you that GT5 will be great, I don't know how you can brand it as the "greatest ever". You're not backing up your point that well.  Answer my questions.

First, owning 360, PS3, and Wii does not make you neutral. If you were neutral, you'd say something like this: "I'm not going to side with either 360 or PS3 gamers and say that Forza 3 will be just as good as GT5. One will not be significantly better or more popular than the other." Also, owning a Wii doesn't make your point more or less right, as Wii or Wii software was not mentioned anywhere else in the argument.  Am I wrong?

Second, you say Forza 3 improving solely in graphics and gameplay will not be enough to dethrone GT5. Well, you don't say anywhere in your "theory" any reason why GT5 will be a better game than Forza 3 with the press as far as quality's concerned.  What does GT5 have over Forza 3 that's significant?

Third, I don't know how GT5 can be the greatest saleswise even with its reputation. The series' best seller GT3: A-Spec sold about 15M with a huge PS2 userbase. How do you expect GT5 to outsell Mario Kart? Here's how it's going to be with sales... Mario Kart : GT5 :: GT5 : Forza 3

Whoa Whoa Whoa!!!! I thought the Classic Out Run arcade game was the best of all time.

Too bad mario kart wii is the real racing king thus making every discussion about forza3 vs GT5 useless.

Yes, because obviously you have played GT5 and Forza 3 and can confirm that Forza 3 is indeed superior to GT5.
