I thought we were talking about Mortal Kombat for the Wii. I Could totally agree with that! But Mario Kart... not a chance in hell. Mario Kart sales are just incredible and will probably hit 20+ million.

The Mario Karts (6 games) have sold

Super Circuit: 5.45M
DoubleDash: 6.96M
SMK: 8.76M
MK64: 9.87M
MKDS: 15.03M  (should end at 20-22M)
MKWii: 16.00M (should end at 27-35M)

 

Total: 62.07M (should end at 78-88M

 

The Gran Turismos (7 games) have sold

GT4:P: 1.36M
Concept Tokyo: 1.56M
GT5:P: 3.05M
GT2: 9.37M
GT4: 9.65M
GT1: 10.85M
GT3: 14.87M

Unreleased GTs (2 games):
GT5: 0.00M (should end at 7-9M)
GT: Prologue: 0.00M (should end at 4-6M

 

Total: 50.71M (should end at 62-66M)

if you include illegal PSP downloads, sure...

otherwise no, the PSP will get to 3-4M max, the PS3 will do MSG4 numbers... so 5-6 max, it won't do 50% tie in ratio...

yes zlejedi, because PSP and PS3 combined will not sell another 25million this gen...? not even taking nonbundled GT5 sales in consideration?

GT outselling MK: Wii? This will happen shortly after I grow a third eye that isn't partially colour blind (oh how wonderful it would be to see red flowers amongst green leaves!)

Mario kart wii only sells 5k less then sales of ps3 each month :P

So, even with that, it would be pretty close XD
