Every one of my friends loves anime.

Is there anybody else who absolutely hates it?

I'm just curios, not tro0lling or being an asshole.

Saying you hate all anime is as ridiculous as saying you hate all live action.

All anime means is Japanese animation. The art style can be hugely different, the plots and themes can be different, all it is, is an median.

Is there a unifying theme about live action, other than obviously live actors being shot? No. There's shitty ass movies like Meet the Spartans, funny movies, serious movies, gory movies, etc.

i agree, i was gonna say the same thing.

to the OP, if you've only been watching one genre or one company's productions, maybe you could try watching another kind and then decide if you like that one at all? there really is something for everyone

You can't hate ALL animes there must be one you're somewaht interested in?

There so many different animes it's hard to hate them all.

back in the day i liked some of em, but after a while it got old fast.

i dont really like any animation, anime or otherwise.

for me to like one, it has to be absolutely sensational, and even then i will feel wierd, as i dont like animation at all.

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

Just like normal tv shows, you have to find the one that appeals to you. There are tons of different animes out there. The great part about them is that they usually last 50+ episodes (naruto is well over 300 now). If you don't like the comedy based ones, there are action ones, mysteries, suspense, thrillers, etc.

yu yu hakusho, non-filler naruto shippuudens, and death note are all worth checking out :p

@ Orca

i never read the manga of deathnote, or saw the anime.

i will say tho, i got the 3 movies of it cus the guy who did ringu did 'L', so i got em all. and i will say i liked them a lot.

I hate it. It's lame Japanese TV and every character has huge hair. Theres nothing good about it. I used to watch Pokemon and Yugioh when I was younger though, but not anymore.

I think that few people are otaku level anime lovers, most people I know are indiferent to it, or like some like I do, but I dont know any otaku personally.

sadly, fruits basket only made it to 26, which is only half-way through the manga
