FIrst I got to say - I have never played Forza or GT

Reading through these forums, I was kinda assured GT was an incredible simulator and nothing compared to it... and i have been saving up to get GT5 when it finally comes out (hopefully sometime this year) 

"Unfortunately" i came across this video which says Forza2 is better than GT Prolouge in all aspects (except graphics)

What do you guys think?

Simply extrapolating the situation and with GT PSP being the primary focus (going to be released with the psp Go) does it mean GT5 will not live uo to its reputation?

GT5:P is just that...a prolouge.  but that doesn't mean that GT5 will be bad, i think it will definitely live up to its name.  But truly i would say save up for both GT5 and Forza 3....both are gonna be triple A games, and offer an awesome unique experience.  I'll lay it out for you for what both games have/are rumoured to have.

GT5--Amazing graphics, 600+ cars, 100-200 tracks, 16 people racing online, 60fps, 1080P, many tuning options, and it will now have damage.  It has nascar racing, rally racing, and normal GT racing.

Forza 3--Amazing graphics, 400 cars, 100 tracks, 8 player online races, 60 fps, 720P, a huge amount of tuning options, and extreme customization of cars (meaning you can pretty much pain whatever you could possibly think of on your cars), a video editor, has damage+rollover, and it will be more forgiving for noobs (an ingame rewinder so if you crash you can just rewind).  And you will be able to do normal GT-like racing.

Youtube has allowe videos over 10 minutes for ages.

On topic. Why would you post this? It isn't a useful comparison and it isn't going to end well

yo_john117 you forgot to mention that GT5 has Day & Night cycles as well as weather, liverly editor and paint editor. Probably know more after OPM next month does their preview of GT5.

rofl, yeah sure. and my grandpa is Santa Claus :). There is nothing that can match the quailty of Gran Turismo. Never was and never will be.

theyre both about the same. Theyre both realistic racers but GT5P looks alot better however the graphics for both Forza 3 and GT5 are equal so it just comes down to how many cars you care about and which system(s) you and your friends have

My bad...i knew there was some stuff that i forgot   But i have a feeling that after OPM does their preview of GT5 that i'll be way more pumped for GT5...here's hoping for a release date or at least a general time frame.

GT5 will have out of this world graphics.

I'm not sure the same could be said about Forza 3.

Forza 2 got much higher review scores than gt5p

GTAIV got a higher score than GTA SA.
