Forums - Nintendo - What do you want in Pikmin 3?

I think 2 player co-op would be the best. The game would be really fun that way. I'd also like to see a new Pikmin color and for the game to stick more to Pikmin 1 rather then 2.

Also, I'd like to see Nintendo make it try to hit new games. It would be interesting to see if they could make the franchise appeal to new players. I assume the best way would be to make it simpler.

I don't know about you but the one feature I am wanting to see more then anything is four player online brawls.  I wouldn't mind split screen co-op but I would prefer online co-op with friend codes, so you and a friend can start a game and play through from two different locations! I for one found Pikmin one too difficult because of the day limit. But I loved Pikmin2 though I never actually beat it.


As for whats taking it so long. I heard can't remember where but I heard that a small division inside EAD Tokyo was making the new Pikmin.So if its such a small team then it makes sense that the game could take a few years, not like the last two Pikmin's which were developed in house by big teams.

I wasn't aware of the voting you refer to in your signature.  As I wasn't aware that mean it was not made widely known.  Which means not enough people voted for it to be a valid voting which means the results are invalid.  Which means you are not the biggest fan.  Since I am the one that discovered this I am chosen by default.  So will be putting in my signature that I am the biggest Pikmin fan.
