If you have made your homework instead of giving the tired and absurd claims of 2 years ago, you have realized that:

1.Nintendo has said THOUSANDS of times that the next console will be HD because by then the HD TVs will be more popular

2.Mainstream don't give a damn if it looks cool or not, only if is fun. and tech whore =/= the common users.

3.People don't buy a wii for the conttrol but the games (wii sports for starters) you have realized that by now

4. this kind of threads are ridiculous. Move on.

Puffy pretty much said what I was planning to.

 

As of today, in the US, analog broadcasts ended. Only digital broadcasts transmit. This makrs an official complete transition to digital media. HD wasnt quite ready in 2006, but in 2012, it will be.

I give this response a thumbs down for a number of reasons.

 

But I don't want to get in a flame war because I've been warned for doing that numerous times before...

Gamer or "hardcore gamer"?  The two are extremely different things.

Nope because the motion controls are gonna be more advanced. WM+ built in type stuff of course most likely something new along with it.....

Point is its gonna be motion controlled out of the box and HD. I think Nintendo has even gone on record saying next system is gonna be HD. Anyways this SD decision was a one time thing. HD is pretty much confirmed for the new Wii. HD will be spread out and no developer is gonna wanna be limited next generation with really old tech.
