I'd say I've purchased about... half a dozen movies, couple dozen TV shows, 1-2 arcade games, and a Halo 3 Map pack/Mass Effect DLC and tons of songs for Rock Band.

First, I think it is impossible to get some data for the Digital Distribution stuff. Even for NPD.

I bought a lot of stuff on Xbox Live

7 Aracade games
20 movies
1 Xbox Original --> Black --> meh
0 DLCs

Things I plan to buy:

about 5 new Arcade games (Monkey Island, Shadow Complex, Splosion Man, TMNT, the one title with the bike)
some movies, whatever sees a release-date and interests me.
1 or 2 DLC (Fable II - this should be deal of the week soon, so I am waiting)

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I usually just buy DLC and Map packs. My older brother has been trying to get us to get Castle Crashers, buy it for both him and us though. What a jerk =O.

I have a friend and his cousin who buy just about every song pack and track pack for GH 3, World Tour and Rock Band 2. One day a few months back my friend was like, "I just got $60 worth of songs for Rock Band 2. It's fuckin awesome." That was just one day.

I buy a fair bit. PSN titles plus DLC and way to much for LBP (although that's giving in to my kids pester power admittedly).

BTW is the NPD analysis US only? I'm presuming so.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

I'm a DLC addict. And for the most part, I'd say I download more stuff that I have to pay for from XBox Live, than the PSN. I download more free stuff than anything, though.
