Forums - Gaming - Who here still plays their old systems?

most of mine got destroyed when our house flooded out. Not only that, what I do have is over my parents. I still play what I have on VC and my GC games though. In fact, I'm playing Path of Radiance right now.

Funny thing about floods.  When I lived in Ohio our basement flooded and the Atari 2600 got soaked/drenched.  We claimed it on insurance because it was pretty much fried at the time (they gave about 20 for system and 5 for each game (had tons of games) so we got about 200-250 at least).  We used the money to get Sega Genesis and a few games.  After a few weeks of letting it dry out I hooked it up and it still worked.  It worked up till the point I think it got stolen in a rental house we put it in.

O-D-C, you're missing the Game Boy Light. Good luck finding one. A million bonus points if you can find one for $25 like I did. Sucker didn't know what they were selling me.

I also have the OG Game Boy and the Play It Loud! Game Boy (only a cosmetic redesign, and relaunch with new colors), both Game Boy Pockets (one has the battery LED, and one doesn't), and all I'm missing is the DSi and both GBA SPs (with and without the superior backlight).

So I'm missing 3 handhelds, a GameCube, and a Game Boy Player. I also have all 3 Super Game Boys (1 from US and both kinds from Japan).

Don't have a Game and Watch though. Kudos to you for getting the Zelda one.

You should be able to find a GCN pretty easy and cheap.  The Game Boy Player for GCN shouldn't be too hard either.  I should use my GCN for the Game Boy Player more often.  Do you have the GB Player that was on the SNES?

I play my megadrive and SNES every week. I would have played my N64 almost daily, but the analog stick are so worn out that they are unusable due to me playing the N64 so much. I also play my dreamcast sometimes, but I haven't got that many games for it.

I LOVE ICELAND!

If PS2 is old then yes.

My Snes is still connected to the TV. And from time to time I play all my rpgs again and again and again (Secret of Mana 1-2, Secret of Evermore, Lufia, Breath of Fire, Illusion of Time, Terranigma, Mystic Quest) FF never came out for SNES in Europe just Mystic Quest. Or Sim City and Theme Park. And with some of my friends I still play Street Fighter or the best MP Game on Snes ( Secret of Mana 1 with Multitap)

And I play some PS1 Classics on my PS2. Thats it.

Since I don't consider PS2, Gamecube, & Dreamcast to be old, I'm not really in the mood to play games on old systems for now. My old systems are Super NES, Gameboy Color, & N64.

I'll be getting either a 3DO or a PC Engine soon, so my interest for old systems might be rekindled soon.

Who cares if you need 3 voltage adaptors? :p

You should also get a Famicom Disk System just so you can say that you own every Nintendo system. :p
