Well this was a waste of time, I was only showing MILLION plus game sales, not the total amount that each game sold.

You drew the conclusions "So hopefully this will show people that Nintendo is not the only company making money off of title sells on the Wii." and "Sony is right up there in million percentage titles sold... they just dont sell as many copies as Nintendo."

Doing that by only using the million + ones is rather ridiculous, as it doesn't prove a lot. You could do the total by the million + only's, but even that is a bit odd.

What did you prove with this? You just confirmed Nintendo has the most million sellers on the Wii and student is right, if you took in millions sold nintendo would be dominating the third party (probably over 50% of total sales.)

Are you talking to the OP, or me?

Yep, at least Microsoft sells their games to everyone which are good. Other than Nintendo selling them to 5 year old kids, soccer moms, and grandparents.

Ah, that was actually rather obvious looking at your post. Don't know how I missed that, so sorry for sounding a bit hostile.

As for Nightmare 24, do you have any proof of that?  I doubt you do. Secondly, Nintendo (sort of) motto this gen is that they try to reach out to everyone, using that for another company in the same paragraph as you're downtalking Nintendo doesn't seem very well though through. Oh, and yeah - it's going to provoke several people for no reason at all. Well done, you've successfully been a rude and stupid.

Uh, you've got it the other way around. Unless you're implying Microsoft's games also sell to 5yr old kids, soccer moms, and grandparents (more so than the Wii does to adolescent males, anyway).

Please Note: "everyone" in this instance means males around age 18-25 (predominantly white) living in europe and north america.

Seriously Microsoft has broadened their focus over the last few years but to say that Microsoft sells to "everyone" while Nintendo sells to a smaller group is just plain ignorance.

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

don't feed the troll, and we all know people who say stuff like that are mostly kids anyways.

The stats Pinapple gave are much more useful (albeit still biased towards first parties... and in fact because ioi has recently got more accurate Nintendo game data, it is a little biased against the Wii, the reality is probably something like 18%MS, 20%Sony and 48% Nintendo.... although as so many HD fans like to take out Wii Sports from Wii game sales when comparing to the HD twins attach ratios, then it should also be taken out of this figure, which would probably pull it down a good few percent)

"don't trust statistics you haven't forged yourself" is a proverb that immediatly comes to my mind when I read this
