All it's missing is Oprah now.

If its on Oprah, it is bound to succeed!! Everything she touches turns to gold!

The press is buzzing about it the same they did with the wii, I am fully confident Natal will succeed.

Its wrong to judge a baby prenatally, as its wrong to judge Natal prenatally.

Tease.

It will all depend on the software...

example

Fail = That kickball thing
Success = ??? I can't think of anything

No detals on when it'll be released, no details on price, no details on what games will take advantage of NATAL.

So far it sounds like either vaporware or a flop

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

As the announcer once said in SSBM "FAILURE" (some of us heard it more than others). I agree it applies to NATAL.

Well if it consists of me standing on 3X6 foot rectangles smacking balls (that didn't sound right),Yes! it will fail. Nobody (especially xbox fans) wants to hear it so I'm holding back. And maybe, a couple years from now I'll get to say I told you so.
But then again, like I've said a couple days back, I'm 99% sure some kind of motion conroller will inevitably be announced. Saving Natal, but just turning into another Wii ripoff.

I wasn't completely convinced until I saw it on Jimmy Fallon. The way they reacted and the crowd as well was OVERWHELMINGLY positive. People are going to want to try this and that hype WILL last.

Now MS just has to deliver with compelling Natal experiences to deliver on the hype. Easier said than done definitely.

But it can't be compared to Home. The problem with Home is it wasn't fresh enough. It didn't reach out to a new audience. And very few really wanted to use it.

Since Sony has the PS Eye already out. I can definitely see their sticks with lights out at as much as a year before Natal hits stores.
