i wouldnt buy it because ffx-2 is included. 128bit games dont need to be remade. they look good enough as is

I thought this was in many ways the worst of the series, so not a chance.

The early FF should be remade 1st, FF V, VI, VII, VIII , IX, X(in order) and Finish the upcoming title first. Looking at Versus, KH:BBS, Parasite Eve, Agito and DQ.

I don't really get people's desire to remake classics games. It seems to be only the Final Fantasy series. I would MUCH rather SE puts that time and effort into creating more new games in the series.

Heck if they just made a disc or put it on the store that has FFX and X-2 which play just like the originals but in HD [most likely it would be 1080 looking at Tekken5 and lower end PS3 games like Disgaea3] I would buy. I never got to play the original but I'm very interested.

Still.... I see PSN/XBL re-release more likely... The game's not too old aat all...

Like me, I want to keep playing my favorite games every now and then so a remake is surely a great way of playing it again.

For sure it's great to play some old favourites. I just finished playing FF8, which I haven't played in years. I am quite happy to play the originals. I have no problems with them re-releasing calssic games, but to spend to the effort reworking the whole game seems tedious. I'm still shocked SE hasn't released the three PS1 games in a collector's set like they did with 5+6.

I think maybe they should wait till the 9th generation to remake 10 &.12. Give us 7 - 9 starting this generation and continue into next gen and we will all be good. That way all games get what they deserve.

Most likely. FFX was my second favorite of the franchise. Hmm, now I might actually spend the majority of my summer playing it again. I miss the sphere grid...
