Forums - Sony - Remember that dusty PS3?

@ Destroyer_of_Knights

I know the pain of working at a call center. So many idiots ring up sigh.

Ewww.
Not nice

If you look at the vent holes you can see them clogged by the same grey dust. Something that needs to be sucked in when the fans were on...

The tech. was just trying to grow tomatoes with the power of The Cell. He thought the tomatoes would be blue and weigh 50 lbs. He was trying to solve world hunger and now he's being called lazy. I've learned now that it is not worth doing good for the world.

PS3s are dust traps allright... its the first console I've had which has required regular maintenence.

Tease.

Wow, that's just terrible.

I feel that the customer got what he deserved, it may have not been right what the tech did, but I'm sure there are 2 sides to this story, so let not paint the customer as being a saint.

What?

How would he get what he deserved?  Even if he called and bitched, he still deserves his PS3 fixed.  If you actually bother reading the stories that take place before this, you will see that he actually handles things well, it's their side that does all the bad things.

Look at the vent holes. Alot of them are clogged. This could cause overheating. Thus it being neglect since that could be the reason for the malfunction and if it were cleaned it might not have caused the malfunction. Unless the tech guy put it in a cabinet with dust and turned the Ps3 on for a while I doubt the tech guy did this.

The customer was a washed up child actor probablly trying to get his name in the news.

Holy crap. So lame.
